If I were an animal I would like to be either a Lion, Tiger, or chimpanzee. I would climb tall trees to get away or run fast on the ground during the day. I would roar very loud to make me be heard chew bananas all day and run with the herd I would teach my cubs to play and fight sleep in the trees during the night. I would try to teach man that we need to live nurture my cubs and teach them to give, keep away from the poachers who want us to die build a fence so high they would have to fly. If I was an animal I would leave man alone never eat their flesh or lick on their bone I would make them leave our forests to thrive stop them caging us up pretending we're alive. Education would start when man is a child that animals must and need to survive in the wild being kept in a zoo is cruelty in itself just to keep the rich in the custom of wealth.#poetry #love #quotes #poetrycommunity #writersofinstagram #poem #poet #life #writer #instagram #lovequotes #poetsofinstagram #quoteoftheday #art #quote #poems #thoughts #follow #writing #shayari #inspirationalquotes #instagood… Click To Tweet

IMO “if I were” can be a powerful beginning to a poem; a gateway for imagination and playfulness, as in this poem.
