If you have never experienced a loved one stripped of their humanity by cancer then you are very lucky, it’s horrible and tears a family apart.
I worked for a company that dealt with toiletries, I quite enjoyed the job because I was given an opportunity to travel all over the country with a driver to assist him with the deliveries. The bosses were pretty cool and it was a happy time there, apart from one guy who made my life a misery, he stood over 6 foot tall, and he was a bully, he would constantly pick on me day after day, his name was also Billy. I was pretty young and vulnerable when working I was quiet in those days, not like now lol, back then I was more peaceful although I did have mental health issues I was able to control it then, I had more good days than bad and worked long spells without taking time off due to sickness.

I befriended the bosses son, he would come to work there in the summer holidays, we became good friends and spent lunchtimes in the park adjacent to the factory. It was nice to have a friend there as the guy who bullied me would drain me every opportunity he had.
It came to a head one afternoon when I was upstairs gathering an order together for a shop, he came upstairs we ended up fighting and I got a bloody nose and bruised eye, after that we never crossed paths again.
