Today I took my ex-wife to a Hospital appointment in Surrey, a few miles away from home, but one of the Major Hospitals in Sussex England.
The hospital is huge and deals with almost everything, that’s probably why most people throughout Sussex are sent there.
Apart from the usual parking nightmares, we were not there for long, my ex-wife was seen pretty quickly.
This is more of a tribute than a rant, in that particular department, there must have been at least six or seven people from different Countries From Doctors to Nurses, and reception staff.
I was sitting reading my magazine with a free coffee and watched in wonder how all these different cultures worked together in harmony to serve the same goal of caring for people like you and me.

In this country we are very lucky, we have a National Health Service second to none an organization that doesn’t look for your wallet before you are treated, an organization that gives you the same treatment whether rich-poor young or old, and I for one appreciate each one of them. I also worked for the NHS for 13 years and found the work rewarding.
