staff
Surrounded with covered faces
Baggy clothes and loose laces
Everyone in panic and readily braces
Killing a virus in millions of cases.
Young and old cower in fear
Confined people shedding a tear
Cuts through your heart like a sharp spear
Holding close the ones you hold dear.
It is Gods way of kicking our ass
For ignoring our planet, letting it pass
Many poisons in the form of gas
Vegetation diminishing reality alas.
Wildlife extinction not far away
Living for tomorrow and not for today
They cannot appeal as they cannot say
That we need to change our damaging way.
Stay at home, be safe and be well
Hard to determine if your ill who can tell?
Goods of the shelves ,nothing to sell
Thousands have died, many have fell.
Fighting to find that medical cure
Scientists trying but not too sure
The virus is rife and not so pure
affecting many and not the fewer.
