World cup Turmoil.
Imagine the number of people this would need to bring into fruition, all the people in the background, engineers, carpenters, etc they have all done a wonderful job. In this day and age of uncertainty when lots of countries are edging by the big red button to end our World, it’s comforting to see sport bringing everyone together. The Russian people have had a bad time lately prior to the events of the poisoning etc but as yet it still has not been proved it was them..
There isn’t enough harmony in this World at the moment, people are quick to start wars albeit usually within their own Countries. I am writing this to highlight the fact that this is a celebration of Countries uniting together to at least forget all the trouble in the World during this epic contest. It’s wonderful to see all the different nationalities during the World cup, everyone knows they have a good chance of winning, it’s a lengthy process but for football fans, it’s the ultimate game.
I thought it was kinda sad to see the amount of Police needed before each match starts to keep order, lots of Police from here in the UK, the first day wasn’t a success when you saw fans along the river one even throwing himself in they were not causing much trouble, but they made sure their presence was felt, England had arrived.

Amsterdam Police were on standby to make sure there weren’t any issues the ones who did cause issues were transported back to the UK and their passport revoked, so they could not travel, isn’t this sad, all the hard work they must have put in to save for the occasion wasted because they could not behave. I abhor any kind of violence, the pen is indeed mightier than the sword, but for some, this is the whole reason for going to sporting competitions to cause trouble at all costs.
I cannot imagine the Russian Police taking any shit, they are much more strict when it comes to violence and I pity anyone who gets tossed in their jails, so try to enjoy this great time on the football calendar and get home in one piece. The very best of luck to the England squad and to the Whole World.
